You can taste traditional culinary not only at roadside stalls. You can also enjoy traditional food with more modern and luxurious packaging in restaurants and cafes. One of the places to eat in Bali that offers a culinary experience like this is the Batan Waru Ubud Cafe. In this place, you will find culinary offerings served by professional chefs.

It has been more than 20 years since American Brian Aldinger started his first journey with his Balinese wife Nuri. They traded New Jersey for Ubud to open a humble small roadside stall when the name Naughty Nuri was first coined. Naughty Nuri sells the best pork ribs and the best martinis. This stall is getting more and more popular and has several branches. One of its branches is on Jalan Mertanadi, Seminyak which is the newest one.

The mainstay menu from the legendary Naughty Nuri's is Pork Spare Ribs which are smeared with a combination of BBQ spices and Balinese spices. This menu is really delicious, 1 portion is not enough for 1 person. The meat from the ribs is very tender and easily comes off the bone.

The Price of Each Food in the Favorite Menu at Warung Naughty Nuri

All menus owned and served by Naughty Nuri's really taste super good! But there are still some favorite menu. Namely the Pork Belly and Pork Charsiu menus. The Thai Chilly and Pork Gravy dipping sauce is really the right combination and really fresh. Some side dishes like rice or garden salad and iced tea drinks are prepared! However, they are quite cheap!

When I stopped by Nuri's during the day, it turned out that they provide a lunch-saving package with a capital of Rp. 98k++ only!

A fun fact to discover about this stall is their special drink menu! It's the Umpa Lumpa Shake which is a combination of milkshake and dessert served in a beautiful martini glass. The price is only IDR 75k+. But the best part about this first order of drinks is the group of staff who will approach your table dancing and singing "Shake, shake, shake."

They also have the famous Nuri Martini which features 110ml of vodka or gin goodness in each cold serving. This martini is claimed by Ched Anthony Bourdain to be the best Martini outside of New York.

There are more fun things that are worth the money, but certain things are keeping up with the increasingly contemporary market which means Naughty Nuri is changing the concept to be more interesting by adding menus and beautiful interior designs to be photographed.
